Here is my first roll for my founders.
Since it is “couple” I think I am going to do a little prequel about my couple so I get a feel for who they are and what their story is.
I am going to have an extra “hidden” trait that I give to my founders that is not game based but more in how I will be playing them.
I would like to introduce my Random Legacy founders to you all before I really start playing them. I misunderstood the instructions and thought “couple” meant you literally start with a founding couple, not that my founder needed to find a partner. So I started with a couple I made in CAS. Oh well! heh
This is Darcy Rain. Traits: workaholic/shy/schmoozer/athletic/ambitious
She was a star athlete in high school (still jogs everyday), straight A’s student, always go go go. She started working in her father’s business and dressed in a suit her first day as a Coffee Courier. It is her dream to be a Power Broker, just like her father.
It is rare to see this woman relaxing or smiling for that matter and despite all that ambition and drive, she is rather shy when it comes to anything outside of the office.
She loves fashion but tends to dress on the more conservative side of the fashion line.
Her hidden trait given to her by me? Kindness, which can sometimes conflict with her career.
This is Jovan Rain. Traits: clumsy/family-oriented/eco-friendly/artistic/friendly
Jovan lives in his mother’s old beach house in Barnacle Bay and is sort of flitting through life. He is a fairly talented painter but does it mostly as a hobby.
He is the “nice guy”, the “fun guy” but the one the girls always ultimately end up leaving because he has no job or goals.
He is starting to get a little frustrated and conflicted because he loves kids and ultimately would love to start a family someday but he enjoys his leisure life far too much.
His secret trait that I am giving to him? He is 8 years younger than Darcy and sometimes that really shows.
How they met…
Darcy was giving herself a rare treat for getting promoted to Filing Clerk and Jovan was walking home from a painting class.
He made her laugh…a rare thing…so she said yes when he asked her out…a rarer thing.
Their first date.
She asked him about his painting and encouraged him to pursue it as a career, something he never considered before…
*Note that he didn’t even change out of his painting clothes, lazy bones!
He encouraged her to try new things way outside her comfort zone, to have a little fun even if it makes you look foolish. She learned to laugh at herself and care a little less about what others think.
Jovan sold his very first painting, earning enough money to finally buy a ring.
Darcy said yes….
Darcy finally cracked a smile for Jovan while walking down the isle.
