Note: I post a lot, on average 6-7 posts a day.
Pixel is pooped!
I had a really busy work week last week (and into this) and had almost no free time. I feel like a chair blob and my eyes are bloodshot from staring at the computer. And when I finish working, sometimes I want nothing to do with the computer, minus that SimCity all day gaming session on Saturday :D.
So my posts might be a little light this week. (Watch me post the same amount anyway heh)
I also got my hair cut, nearly 8 inches off, so I had to update Pixel Poo. Minus the braid and the center part, it looks almost like mine :)
Been super crazy busy with work and stuff so have not had a lot of time to play and post :) Just a little FYI
So I am going out of town for the next few days to visit family and attend my Aunt’s wake. I pre-ordered Sims 3 University Life but I will not be around to share my first look with you all or enjoy all of your posts. Family always comes first. ♥
I have some Rain Legacy in the queue for now. I hope you all who are lucky enough to get Sims 3 University Life tomorrow, have a blast! And I look forward to catching up once I return. ♥

Thank you m’dear! I am going to answer this publicly if you do not mind, in case anyone else was wondering the same thing :) Plus this will be lengthy because that is just the way I am. :D
I work from home doing data research coding on the computer. I basically take all the data from online and oral surveys (can be anything, new products, advertisements, concept ideas, political surveys etc) and “code” all the responses so that the data is organized in a usable way for the client.
I am a contract worker, so I am paid per code, not hourly. I am training right now for a possible hourly position with the company I contract for and if or when I get hired, I won’t be able to have tumblr running in the background as much :D but it will be a more steady income!
It is a hard industry to be in right now because a lot of our work is going to India and the invention and use of more advanced auto coders. :/ Last year at this time, I was working from 6 am until 3 am, because this is our busy season. (Clients usually slam us with holiday related ads and concepts)
This year, right now, I only have one study and a bit of training now and then. It has been a hard year. Hopefully things will get better.

After 14 long days without power, I have electricity once again running through the wires of my household. What a wonderful birthday present :)
I want to thank everyone here who sent me messages, replied to my personal posts and kept me in your thoughts. This is such a wonderful community filled with lots of heart.
And thank you all SO much for all the lovely birthday wishes. Best birthday ever! Power back on, ask box filled with love and so many little presents sent by so many of you from the Sims 3 Store. My heart is spilling over from all the love.

Okay, enough of that! On to the sim stuff! I have a poll up asking who I should post about next for a break from the Rain Legacy on my main page here. I have about 10 chapters left of my Bloody in Bridgeport story to post. Is anyone still interested or should I take a break for now?

We are still without power here in New Jersey. Four inches of snow last night as well! The power company said they might have us back up by Sunday night. That will put us at 13 days total without power, in freezing temps. Way to go JCPL!
We have a fireplace, firewood and a generator that we run during the day so we are okay. We are doing fine, but honestly, this stinks! On top of this, our car is not working right and we had to take it to the shop. So we are sorta trapped here. Ha!
My youngest, my six year old, is affected the most. He needs his routine and school have been closed for nearly two weeks. He just randomly bursts into tears because he wakes up in the dark & cold and goes to bed in the dark & cold. It breaks my heart. He is usually an incredibly happy child and this has really affected him. Fingers crossed we have our power again soon, for his sake!
Monday is my birthday and Bear was going to get me Sims 3 Seasons. I hope I have power by then, but in the big scheme of things, it is a small small thing compared to being safe, warm, with a solid roof over your head and family and loved ones near. :)
