Roommates Supernatural household is a small household residing in Moonlight Falls, consisting of Dante Morganthe, a vampire, Argus Brown, a werewolf and Violet Slymer, a ghost. This may be a reference to Being Human, a British TV show about a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost who live together as roommates trying to lead normal human lives.
Marigold only recently realized that she’s descended from a family of powerful fairies. She was raised by her late grandmother and recently inherited the family home, where she lives alone. Strange things seem to happen wherever she goes. Is she a magnet for supernatural events or is she just crazy?
Well she is crazy in fact. She has the insane trait and when I got to her home she was sleeping in her swimsuit. I think she is cute. :)
Some think she is a parody of Sookie Stackhouse.
Chauncey Grimm is a single guy with a passion for storytelling…especially tales of the supernatural. While he can’t prove it, he believes he must be a descendant of the famous Grimm brothers, the writers of many classic fairy tales. Chauncey has come to Moonlight Falls to carry on his family legacy. But will he just write stories or become the main character in his own supernatural story?
Our next townie on our Meet and Greet tour of Moonlight Falls is Chauncey Grimm. I am sure his name sounds familiar eh? But the moment I saw him, I saw Chuck Shurley from Supernatural. I did not change his face that much but I did change his eye color and hair color to match Chucks and made sure he dressed in a bathrobe!
Nothing like having a mother-in-law who hates you and is also a witch.
Rick: Eesh, not in front of the kids!
I have put up a separate page for all of my townie makeovers. You can visit it here. I only have two so far, Lucky Palms and Moonlight Falls but I am sure I will do more. :)
I think EA did a great job on this Bewitched family parody, The Durwoods.
Next our on meet and greet in Moonlight Falls is the Durwood family.
On the outside, the Durwoods would make others jealous with their nice house, two adorable children, and a father with a great job. However, all is not what it seems between a mother in-law who disapproves of her daughter’s husband and two kids who always get what they want. Can the Durwoods learn to live together or will the family spiral out of control?
This is EA’s second attempt at recreating the cast from Bewitched! If you recall, there is a similar family in Lucky Palms. I have to say, they got it much closer this time! More pictures to come!
Last picture of the Crumplebottom household…here are Beatrice and Bianca having it out. Pssst, Bianca won!
The three Crumplebottom sisters are very different in both appearance and attitude. Beatrice is the oldest and very set in her grumpy ways. Belinda is as good natured a person as you could ever meet and often fills the role of family peacekeeper. Meanwhile Bianca is a bit of a spitfire and all about flirting her way through life. These witchy siblings can cast some serious magical mojo; that is when they aren’t squabbling over whose turn it is to wash the dishes!
This household is so much fun! I wanted to do the Crumplebottom name justice and give these ladies a well deserved makeover, without having them lose their EA charm. Speaking of which, some believe this household was inspired by the TV show Charmed or the movie Hocus Pocus. Anyway! From the left: Beatrice, Belinda and Bianca
Another gorgeous house in Moonlight Falls. This time, we find ourselves meeting the Crumplebottom sisters. Oh what a trio these ladies are!
More pictures to follow I promise, but I just wanted to point out one thing I have noticed as I got through each household in Moonlight Falls. For whatever reason, I would say that 80% of all the townies are made with base-game clothing and hair.
The Crumplebottom sisters are all witches and there was so much potential for EA to use all the amazing new supernatural clothing/hair that came with Sims Supernatural but all three sisters were dressed pretty much like this:
This is Belinda by the way. heh Anyway, I took my time making over the Crumplebottom sisters because I felt they deserved it. More pictures coming later today.
Once on the verge of living on the streets, the hippie Ivy family now lives the “trustifarian” lifestyle after Rainflower inherited a fortune from a long-lost great-aunt. No longer bound by the shackles of a budget, this family can have anything they’d like, except they don’t know what they want! Will the influx of Simoleons be a curse for the Ivy family?
Lookit this gorgeous house! EA’s version of a hippy family. heh It is funny because they made the daughter a computer wiz couch potato. :p
