Note: I post a lot, on average 6-7 posts a day.
We have a friend that was involved with Simcity 5 and he gave us a free download of it, which was very kind, but neither Bear nor I were really interested. So Bear put it on his Origin account so he could get that extra free game that came with it. :D
Then, I suggested Bear install it. Why not? We have it right?
Then I played it. All day. Yesterday. I feel like a useless piece of chair sludge! It is seriously addicting. Frustratingly so, as it takes SO long to progress with your town/city.
I do not like that it saves on a cloud server. I would have liked the option to save on my own computer. I had some issues with it rubber-banding my game now and then, and when it would do that, it would kick everyone off our internet. Bear was frustrated, as he was trying to play Battlefield ;)
The picture above is of my first mansion! It only took me ALL day to get to that point. Don’t you just love the garbage trucks in the background, the trailer house right next door, the industrial smoke stack view and the abandoned building just down the street? lol
I wanted to make a sleepy little beach town but that is not possible in regular game-mode. I tried sandbox mode but it felt too easy. So I ended up with a horribly ugly town, but at least it is making money, despite having completely ruined half our land with sewage, garbage and air pollution!
I have to work today, yes, Sunday, and I promised myself I would not touch Simcity, and yet here I sit thinking, “if I make enough money, maybe I can remake the town and have that sleepy beach town I wanted, cleaner energy etc”
I think I need a 10 step program!

Hey everyone. I got a WCIF for the chair in these pictures, the curvy retro one and I honestly thought it was by Awesims but I cannot find it anywhere on their site. Anyone know where it is from?
